| This necklace is made of faceted smokey quartz and smooth amethyst briolettes separated by tiny sterling silver beads. I couldn't find just the right ready-made bead caps to cradle the amethyst beads so I made some from sterling silver - as is the rest of the necklace. The extender chain allows the length to be from 16" to 18". | ||||

| This necklace matches the Blue Lampwork Bracelet in the bracelet section. The pendant is made from some of those lovely handmade glass beads by Annelyse Taylor separated with sterling silver beads and topped with a sodalite bead for emotional balance. I threaded it onto a length of beading chain and finished it with a sterling silver hook clasp. The chain is about 21" and the pendant 2". | ||||

| Olive 'Jade' Necklace with Quartz Pendant |  |

Although this stone is known as olive jade (in reality the beads are slightly greener than they look in the photo), it is actually not jade at all but a member of the serpentine group of stones which are thought to be cleansing and detoxifying. The natural stone in the pendant is very unusually shaped and marked - I believe it to be some sort of quartz. The rest of the necklace is sterling silver. It extends from 16.5" to 17.5" (42 to 44 cms) and the serpentine beads are 10mm.

Because amber is such a light stone, you hardly know you're wearing this necklace! Two different shapes of amber make up the pendant which hangs from a sterling silver snake chain with a trigger clasp. Amber is thought to help clear mental negativity and to have a positive affect on throat problems - so is excellent worn as a necklace. I have used a 16" (4.8 cms) chain but this can easily be changed to an 18" (45.7 cms) or 20" (50.8 cms) if that is what you want. The pendant hangs a tad under 2" (5 cms). |
